Prayer of Dedication (by Carlos)

God of all mercies,
We give you thanks
for all your goodness to us and to all people.
Give us such an awareness of your mercies,
that with truly thankful hearts
we may show forth your praise,
not only with our lips but in our lives,
by giving up ourselves to your service.

We ask your special blessing on these people
Who stand before us this day.
Bless their trip and their mission and these gifts
They will carry with them.
May it all help further our partnership,
Not just with Guatemalan sisters and brothers,
But also with the Christ whom we follow.

In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen.
